Overview

Author Caoilinn Hughes, a 2023-2024 NYPL Cullman Fellow whose previous novels have been nominated for the International Dublin Literary Award and Dylan Thomas Prize, joins us for the U.S. paperback launch of her latest The Alternatives, a timely and unexpectedly hopeful story of four brilliant sisters who scramble to reconnect when the oldest disappears into the Irish countryside.

Caoilinn will be joined in conversation by author Julia Phillips.

This event takes place in the Irish Arts Center Library.
